William Fleming IV

My name is William Fleming IV, and I am deeply honored to serve as a board member for The Royal STEM Scholarship. As a high school educator with over 12 years of experience teaching biology, earth science, and AP Environmental Science, I have devoted my career to sparking curiosity and fostering a love for science in my students. Recently earning my master’s degree in Biology has further fueled my passion for education and advocacy in STEM. Beyond the classroom, I sponsor my school’s Environmental Club and have also coached a high school robotics team, experiences that have allowed me to guide students as they tackle real-world challenges and develop innovative solutions. I also serve as a Trustee at my church, where I’ve gained valuable experience in leadership and community engagement. Joining this board feels like a natural extension of my commitment to empowering the next generation, especially young women of color, to break barriers and thrive in STEM fields. I am excited to collaborate with like-minded individuals to support this transformative mission and create lasting opportunities for future leaders
