Our mission at The Royal STEM Scholarship is to empower the future of our diverse society by providing scholarships and mentorship to young minority students aspiring to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degrees in college. We are committed to breaking down barriers and fostering equity in STEM education, recognizing that the inclusion of underrepresented voices is essential for innovation and progress.

Meet our 2025 Scholarship Recipient

Kyra Hurtt

Kyra plans to attend Coppin State University and major in Health Science, with the goal of one day opening and managing a healthcare facility dedicated to serving women and children.

Kyra’s passion for helping others, commitment to education, and vision for serving her community truly align with the mission and values of The Royal STEM Scholarship. We are proud to support a young woman whose future in STEM is rooted in compassion, leadership, and purpose.

Meet the Founder

Tyffani is a 2024 graduate with dual degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T and Bennett College. A passionate advocate for STEM, Tyffani currently works in the aerospace industry. In alignment with her commitment to advancing diversity in STEM, she founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering young women of color to pursue advanced education and careers in STEM fields.
