Breaking Barriers for Minority Women in STEM

 Our mission at The Royal STEM Scholarship is to empower the future of our diverse society by providing scholarships and mentorship to young minority students aspiring to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degrees in college. We are committed to breaking down barriers and fostering equity in STEM education, recognizing that the inclusion of underrepresented voices is essential for innovation and progress.

Chyna Tyler

Chyna Tyler is a dedicated student planning to attend Virginia Commonwealth University to major in biomedical engineering. Inspired by a personal medical experience, she aspires to design prosthetics and innovate in medical technology. A high-achieving graduate of Goochland High School, Chyna earned her associate degree alongside her diploma and is committed to making a lasting impact through science and service.

Meet the Founder

Tyffani is a 2024 graduate with dual degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T and Bennett College. A passionate advocate for STEM, Tyffani currently works in the aerospace industry. In alignment with her commitment to advancing diversity in STEM, she founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering young women of color to pursue advanced education and careers in STEM fields.
